As a section of the Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Union (LHMU), the Enrolled Nurse Association aims to empower and inspire Enrolled Nurses to develop their professional and industrial awareness.

         

The Enrolled Nurse Association Objectives

  • Protecting the Industrial interests of Enrolled Nurses
  • Providing for professional interests of members
  • Promoting educational opportunities for members
  • Publishing the Enrolled Nurse journal
  • Promoting the networking of Enrolled Nurses throughout Australia
  • Liaising with Government and Private employers to promote the interests of Enrolled Nurses

The Enrolled Nurses Association Council consists of active and passionate Enrolled Nurses from across WA.

What We Do

The Enrolled Nurses Association Council manages the day-to-day business of the Enrolled Nurses Association. 

It also:

  • Makes decisions on behalf of the Association
  • Advises the LHMU Branch Executive
  • Liaises with other professional bodies about nursing issues
  • Is consulted by Government and educational institutions 
  • Nominates LHMU Enrolled Nurse members as representatives to the Nurses and Midwives Board of WA.

All Enrolled Nurse members of the Enrolled Nurse Association are eligible to be a member of the Enrolled Nurse Council.  If you are interested, please call the Union Office for further details
